Donald Trump uses Patriots White House photos to rip New York Times on Twitter
The Patriots’ visit to the White House inspired a familiar social media conflict: Donald Trump vs. The New York Times.
After the Times tweeted two photos comparing the Patriots’ attendance at the White House for visits with Obama in 2015 and Trump on Wednesday, the team added “context” to the photos by noting that football staff were present in the 2015 image.

On Thursday morning, Trump weighed in on the matter:

The Patriots use the phrase “ignore the noise” so often they have tried to trademark it, but this may have been the rare case when they escalated it by joining the fray on Twitter.
