Are you coming to the cottage … or erm … Fenway Park?

Fans all across Boston most likely screamed like a Canadian wolf bird when they found out that Fenway Park is hosting a “Heated Rivalry” night this summer.

“Heated Rivalry Night brings the passion and electric chemistry of Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov’s story into a setting that knows a thing or two about unforgettable rivalries,” Fenway Park said.

As part of their themed Red Sox games, Fenway Park is throwing a “Heated Rivalry” Night during a game versus the Mariners game on August 31, Fenway Park announced.

Tickets will go on sale April 30, and a portion of proceeds will be donated to OUT MetroWest, a Framingham nonprofit that provides support to LGBTQ+ youth, Fenway Park said.

“Heated Rivalry,” a book in the Game Changers series by Rachel Reid, tells the story of two rival hockey players, Canada’s Shane Hollander and Russia’s Ilya Rozanov, who have a secret romance. The show has ties to Boston, as Rozanov plays for the fictional Boston Bears hockey team.

The first book was turned into a Canadian television series in December, which “taught a lot of straight women that their sexuality is actually gay guy,” Connor Storrie, the actor who plays Rozanov, said in a viral SNL monologue.

Fenway has even sweetened the deal and created Hollander and Rozanov Boston Red Sox jerseys for those who purchase tickets through their “select offer,” Fenway Park said.

Jerseys are randomized, and first come, first served. Sizes range from adult S to XL, the ballpark said.

However, VIP tickets allow the ticket-holder to choose their jersey and get a punny cottage baseball hat. The ticket also allows early park access, Fenway Park said.

Fans will be able to “pregame” with a decorated dance floor, styled as the club scene from the show. Who knows, maybe you can look passionately at your secret lover while someone else dances on you. But nonetheless, the “DJ understands the assignment,” the historic ballpark said.

The Sam Deck will be transformed to the cottage, and will have themed snacks, drinks, and trivia, the ballpark said.

Themed Red Sox games will start on May 1 with a Class of 2026 game. Some family friendly nights like Star Wars and Pokemon Go are also lined up throughout the summer, Fenway Park’s website shows.
