N.H. couple in their 70s froze to death in double suicide, AG says
Both of the couple's deaths were classified as suicides, and their cause of death was environmental hypothermia.
A married couple found dead near their New Hampshire summer home over the weekend died by suicide and froze to death, the state’s attorney general announced.
David Warren, 79, and Rae Lynn Warren, 78, of Tuftonboro were found outside by a neighbor on Saturday morning, the office of Attorney General John M. Formella said. Police responded just before 9:30 a.m. Saturday to 40 Governor Wentworth Highway in Tuftonboro after the neighbor found the Warrens “outside and behind a camp” on their property.
The Warrens owned the property on Wentworth Highway, Formella’s office said.
Initially, the AG’s office initially said the deaths were “likely the result of a murder/suicide.” However, after autopsies were conducted Monday, both of the Warrens’ deaths were classified as suicides, and their cause of death was determined to be environmental hypothermia, the AG’s office announced.

Officials do not plan to release more information on the deaths, Formella’s office said.
