Florida man arrested, charged with 6th OUI in North Reading
A 65-year-old man from Naples, Florida, was arrested in North Reading on Thursday evening and charged with his sixth offense of operating under the influence of alcohol. Thomas Frawley was also charged with a marked lanes violation, according to the North Reading Police Department. Officers responded to a restaurant on Main Street for a report of an intoxicated man leaving and getting into his car, according to police. An officer observed a car matching the description of the vehicle pulling out of the parking lot and heading south on Route 28. Police said the officer stopped the vehicle and determined the driver, Frawley, was under the influence of alcohol. Frawley was held on $2,000 bail and will be arraigned Friday in Woburn District Court, according to police.
