Man struck, killed by Amtrak train in Mansfield
A man was struck and killed by an Amtrak train in Mansfield Thursday afternoon, according to MBTA Transit Police.
Transit Police confirm trespasser struck by Amtrak train in Mansfield. Male age unknown deceased as a result of injuries sustained.

Amtrak spokesman Mike Tolbert said the man was hit on the tracks around 12:31 p.m. by a train traveling to Boston from Washington, D.C.
The MBTA warned passengers traveling on the Providence line to expect delays.

Police asked the public to avoid the area of the Mansfield Train Station.
