Car crashes into Quincy burger restaurant, 4 hospitalized
Four people were hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a silver Subaru Legacy crashed through the front doors of Wild Willy’s Burgers in Quincy.
Quincy Police Captain Allan Gillan said the crash occurred at 12:39 p.m., when the driver of the car, a 90-year-old man, smashed through the front of the Washington Street restaurant.
Gillan said a father and his two teenage daughters inside the restaurant sustained nonlife-threatening injuries from the crash and were taken to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth for treatment. The driver of the car was also taken to South Shore Hospital as a precaution, the police captain said.
According to Gillan, the cause of the crash is still unclear.
A phone call Tuesday afternoon to Wild Willy’s went through to a message that said the call could not be completed.

According to the website for Wild Willy’s, which has five New England locations, the Quincy location opened at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
