During her Monday appearance on The Tonight Show, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton got some advice and support from kids in the form of letters read aloud by host Jimmy Fallon.
One of the letters, all of which were taken from Clinton’s Tumblr page, Letters to Hillary, came from 12-year-old Brijani Ellis, who said women will not stand for Republican candidate Donald Trump trying to stop the former secretary of state from becoming president.
“It’s our job to gear up and knock down this wall and show that WOMEN have a PLACE in THIS WORLD,” Ellis wrote, adding the postscript, “P.S. I’m 12 and I approve this message. Vote Hillary.”
Another anonymous letter advised Clinton to post less on Instagram, more on Snapchat, and to cut her hair.
“Best hairstyles was when you were senator and in November 1994,” the letter read.
“I don’t think this is the candidate that has to worry about hair,” Fallon said.
Fallon messed up Donald Trump’s hair when the Republican presidential nominee made an appearance on The Tonight Show last week.
Clinton’s Monday interview with Fallon began with the host jokingly presenting her with a paper bag of items Trump “left behind” from his appearance on the show, including a heart-shaped, framed photo of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“The most famous bromace going, right?” Clinton said.
“Besides me and Timberlake,” Fallon said.
“But Justin’s worthy of your attention,” Clinton said. “Last I checked, he hadn’t killed off his adversaries.”
