Co-starring Johnny Depp!

Whitey Bulger biopic Black Mass is one step closer to theaters as Warner Bros. recently unveiled the film’s first U.S. poster. Johnny Depp’s looming, leather jacket-clad Bulger stands over an assumed victim, pistol in hand, standing in East Boston with a view of Chelsea and the Tobin Bridge in the background.

Black Mass depicts the Winter Hill Gang’s reign of terror in Boston and Bulger’s time as an FBI informant in the 1970s. Based on the 2001 book of the same name, Depp stars alongside Joel Edgerton as FBI agent John Connolly, Benedict Cumberbatch as Bulger’s law-abiding state senator brother, Billy, and Dakota Johnson as Bulger’s former lover, Lindsey Cyr.
