Watch SNL’s ‘Jeff Sessions Gump’ cold open with Kate McKinnon

Reprising her role as Jeff Sessions once again on Saturday Night Live, Kate McKinnon added a twist on her portrayal of the current United States Attorney General: Forrest Gump.

Opening the March 4 episode as Sessions sitting on a bus stop bench, McKinnon gossiped with a rotating cast of characters in an homage to the  1994 movie starring Tom Hanks. Both Sessions and the fictitious Gump are from Alabama. Eating chocolates, McKinnon explained away recent events. And as has become a frequent occurrence, a shirtless Vladimir Putin (played by Beck Bennett) showed up for a brief cameo.
