Here’s what to expect from Thursday’s weather forecast

Morning snow for some, followed by plunging temperatures.

Thursday morning will be a bit messy across part of the region.

Forecasters expect overnight rain to change to snow by early morning. Areas from the Mass. Pike south are expected to receive 1 to 3 inches of snow. Areas north of the Pike may see flurries or light snow with little to no accumulation.

Temperatures will drop during the day leading to a very cold Thursday night. Friday’s highs are only expected to be in the teens and 20s.
