Arctic air settles into the region on Tuesday, bringing the coldest temperatures of the season.

Forecasters expect sunny skies, but temperatures will only rise into the single digits and teens in many locations. Gusty winds will create below-zero wind chills.

Temperatures moderate on Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 30s.
