The Boston region can be thankful for some great holiday weather on Thursday.

Thanksgiving Day will feature partly sunny skies, light winds, and high temperatures climbing into the 50s, according to forecasters.

Showers are expected on Friday when temperatures fall back into the low to mid 40s.
