One more seasonably cool day is expected across the region before a one-day warmup.
Wednesday will see partly cloudy skies, light winds, and high temperatures in the mid to upper 40s, according to forecasters.
Warm air moves in Wednesday night, and highs on Thursday could reach the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.
The warmth won’t last, however. Friday will be back in the 40s with scattered showers expected.
