Warmer temperatures return to the Boston region on Wednesday, along with the threat of storms.

Forecasters are calling for a cloudy, muggy day with high temperatures in the low 80s. Showers and possible thunderstorms are expected late in the afternoon and early evening.

Thursday looks partly cloudy with highs in the upper 80s.
