After a day on the slopes, skiers and riders in New Hampshire can warm up and chill out at one of the top ski hotels in the U.S., according to USA Today readers.
USA Today recently released a list of the 10 best ski hotels in America, part of its 2025 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, and the RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, N.H. ranked No. 6.
“With breathtaking mountain views, convenient access to the slopes, and ski-centric amenities, each property delivers the perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and location for snow lovers looking to make the most of their time on the mountain,” wrote USA Today about its list.
Here’s what USA Today wrote about RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain:
Operating in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain is perfect for a deep dive on the time-honored tradition of East Coast skiing. In addition to multiple hot tubs, an Italian restaurant, and a family-friendly game room, the property also features its own signature winery, with plenty of options grown right nearby.
The No. 1 ski hotel in the nation is Viceroy Snowmass in Snowmass Village, Colorado.
For the 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards lists, USA Today travel experts select 20 nominees in topics from food to lodging, destinations to things to do. Then, the publication asks readers to cast votes to determine the top 10.
