Dashed hopes for a Kardashian travel company
Do you want to travel like a Kardashian? It looks like you’re going to have to make it happen on your own.
Rumors have been swirling that the Kardashians were launching a travel company. But according to family matriarch Kris Jenner’s rep, it’s not true, reports the Huffington Post. So where did the rumors come from?
Rob Shuter, otherwise known as “Naughty But Nice Rob,’’ the host of VH1’s “The Gossip Table,’’ posted the article “EXCLUSIVE: The Kardashian’s Are About To Launch Top Secret Travel Business’’ on his gossip website earlier this month. In it, Shuter reported that an unnamed but “reliable source’’ said the Kardashians would craft namesake travel packages for clients based on where they’ve been (the most expensive packages, of course, would be the packages inspired by Kim and Kanye’s travel).
Well, cheer up. The Kardashian travel company may be a mirage, but you can still book a trip to Casa de Campo, a 7,000-acre resort on the Dominican Republic’s southeastern coast, and experience the same top-rated luxuries the Kardashians experienced on two episodes of E!’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians’’ — gourmet meals, beautiful beaches, spa treatments, horseback riding, water sports, golf, and more. A stay at one of the villas with private pool and garden will only cost you $1,710 a night.
