Definitely reserve tickets (for a morning or afternoon visit) or you might not get in.
Highclere Castle is currently closed to the general public and will reopen March 30. Tickets (along with lots of information) are available at www.highclere castle.co.uk.
For the castle, gardens, and Egyptian exhibit: Adults $29; students, over 60, or disabled $26; children ages 4-16 $17; family (two adults and 2-3 children) $81.
Castle and gardens: Adults $18; students, over 60, or disabled $15; 4-16 $10; family $48.
Getting from London to Highclere Castle
Trains run regularly from Paddington
Station to the town of Newbury
