Both run by the same Franco-Lao owners. L’Elephant Vert is the new vegetarian neighbor to the high-end L’Elephant and one of the few spots on earth where you won’t miss the meat. While Coconut Garden has a goofy name, the food is serious.
Dishes $5-$10, but the tasting menu is well worth the $15.
