A Mass. restaurant just ranked the best in America for waterfront dining — again
At this Chatham restaurant, diners can sit right along the sand dunes and enjoy beautiful views of the harbor.
A beachfront restaurant on Cape Cod is still the ultimate waterfront dining experience in the nation, according to USA Today readers.
USA Today named the top 10 waterfront restaurants in America, part of its 2026 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, and Beach House Grill in Chatham ranked No. 1. The restaurant earned the top spot in the same category last year.
The restaurants on the list all have “outstanding service, delicious meals crafted from fresh, high-quality ingredients, and especially stunning views,” USA Today wrote.
Beach House Grill is one of five restaurants at Chatham Bars Inn, which has previously been named the No. 1 waterfront resort in America by USA Today. It features an outdoor patio with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean where diners nibble on lobster nachos, crab BLTs, swordfish tacos, and more.

Beach House Grill opens for lunch on May 14 and for dinner on June 9. During the summer season, the restaurant offers private chef-led clambakes on the beach.
