Attention Dunks fans, there’s a new JetBlue plane in town that might pique your interest.
The airline and Dunkin’ unveiled a new aircraft on Monday in Boston, freshly painted in honor of the coffee company. The Airbus A320, named “Brewing Altitude,” features a donut and coffee design in the classic Dunkin’ pink and orange colors, according to a joint statement from the companies.
“Dunkin’ has been part of the JetBlue journey for nearly two decades, and we’re proud to showcase this partnership with a livery that’s as fun and bold as the brands behind it,” Marty St. George, president of JetBlue, said in a statement. “With our shared Boston heritage and focus on delighting loyal customers, this collaboration brings together two fan-favorite brands in a way only JetBlue and Dunkin’ can.”
The two brands began partnering in 2006 with JetBlue offering customers Dunkin’ coffee aboard its planes. Dunkin’ become the exclusive onboard coffee provider for the airline in 2011.
To celebrate the unveiling “Brewing Altitude,” the companies said customers who fly on the Dunkin’ liveried aircraft on Mondays from May 19 through September 1 will receive boosts to their respective reward programs. TrueBlue members on eligible routes will get Mosaic 1 status, while Dunkin’ Rewards members will get a Boosted status for three months.
“Current Mosaic members will receive 20 bonus tiles, applied to their 2025 tile tracker,” the companies announced. “Existing Boosted Status members will earn two times the number of points on top of the base points earned for all qualifying purchases for three months.”
The pink and orange aircraft will be making its way across JetBlue’s network, according to the companies.
“This is about more than coffee in the sky; it’s about two beloved brands coming together through a shared passion for meeting people where they are and fueling them on their journey,” Scott Murphy, president of Dunkin’, said in a statement. “From Boston to beyond, we’re proud to see our iconic pink and orange take flight with JetBlue and celebrate the fans who’ve made Dunkin’ part of their everyday ritual, even at 35,000 feet.”
