JetBlue is adding a new beach destination for travelers from Boston and New York.

The airline is launching its first-ever service to Florida’s Vero Beach, the company announced on Thursday. Travelers can get to Vero Beach Regional Airport once a week year-round beginning Dec. 11 from Logan International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

JetBlue is also bringing back service to Daytona Beach from Boston and New York, and that year-round service kicks off on Dec. 4.

“Florida continues to be a place JetBlue’s unique combination of low fares and great service resonates, and we’re proud to grow our footprint with these new destinations to meet customer demand for more of the Sunshine State,” said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning and airline partnerships, in a statement. “Whether it’s customers in the Northeast looking for a warm getaway or Floridians traveling north, we’re excited to bring more choices and better service to these markets.”

JetBlue is also “deepening its commitment to its Boston focus city,” according to the airline, by expanding service this winter to Latin America and the Caribbean from Logan Airport.

The airline is increasing service to four popular destinations this winter: St. Thomas; Liberia, Costa Rica; St. Maarten; and Nassau, Bahamas and will offer daily flights to each. The carrier is also adding a second Saturday flight to Grand Cayman and Bridgetown, Barbados during the season.

With these additions, JetBlue says it now offers the most flights from Boston to the Caribbean and Florida.

Earlier this year, JetBlue was named the best hybrid airline (airlines that offer a mix of full-service and low-cost elements) in the World’s Best Airline awards by AirlineRatings.com and among the 10 airlines with the best economy class in 2025 by Fodor’s Travel.
