Read Tom Brady’s appeal for another Deflategate hearing

The legal team for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady formally asked a federal appeals court on Monday for a new hearing on his Deflategate suspension. The four-game punishment was reinstated by the the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in April. It had previously been overturned by a lower court.

Brady’s latest appeal asks for all 13 judges of the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to hear the case after it was initially heard by a three-judge panel. Those judges sided, 2-1, with the NFL.
