A Dolphins player referenced Bill Belichick in a hilarious note to his coach
While the Patriots want nothing to do with the chatter about the team potentially going 19-0, the consensus around Vegas oddsmakers appears to be that New England is the team to beat. The Pats are not only the favorites to win Super Bowl LII, but they’re also the only squad favored to win every single game next season.
The Miami Dolphins, a fellow member of the AFC East, have their eyes on taking down the reigning champions. Defensive tackle Ndamukong Sun called their division foes “definitely beatable” while speaking on ESPN in July.
“We’ve beaten them before,” he said. “We’ve had success against them and really look forward to repeating that as we go out there in this upcoming 2017 season.”
It appears that other players on the team have kept that same goal at the top of their minds throughout the offseason.
During the spring one Dolphin was going up to talk to head coach Adam Gase only to find that he was unavailable because he was working out at the team’s training facility. According to The Miami Herald’s Armando Salguero, the anonymous player left Gase a lighthearted note that read: “We don’t have time for your ‘workouts.’ You think BB works out?”
BB, of course, is in reference to Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
Belichick’s team has won eight straight division titles.
