Morning sports update: The Patriots have reportedly been talking to Brandon Flowers

The Red Sox look to bounce back after losing their third straight game, while the Patriots continue to gear up for the start of training camp.

Free agent CB Brandon Flowers reportedly talking with Patriots: Flowers is 30 years old and has played nine years in the league. He played his first six with the Chiefs and last three with the Chargers. Flowers has 21 career interceptions, including one last season. His best season came back in 2009 when he picked off five passes. (WEEI)
