Patriots Super Bowl odds jump after Brady decision
It didn’t take long for the Patriots to become one of the most favored teams to win Super Bowl 50.
With the ruling coming out that U.S. District Court Judge Berman has nullified Tom Brady’s four-game suspension handed down by the NFL for his involvement in the Deflategate controversy, the Patriots have pulled into a three-way tie for favorites to take home the Lombardi Trophy.
According to VegasInsider.com, New England is now 15:2 favorites to win the big game, alongside the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks. The Patriots odds were 11:1 this morning prior to the ruling, in fourth place behind the Seahawks, Packers and Indianapolis Colts.
As for the Patriots opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers, New England opened the day as 3-point favorites. Since Brady’s Deflategate suspension was negated, the line jumped to six.

That Steelers line is likely to move over the course of the next week, as the Patriots have seen a lot of early action on -6, according to Sportsbook.com.
