Barry Bonds congratulates Tom Brady for avoiding suspension
A lot of people on Twitter were congrulating Tom Brady on Thursday.
Curiously, one of those congratulatory individuals was Barry Bonds, the former San Fransisco Giants baseball player and the MLB’s all-time leader in home runs.

[fragment number=1]The New England Patriots quarterback was suspended four games for being “generally aware’’ of the deflation of footballs, an action which is akin to taking performance-enhacing drugs, according to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. But after a lengthy appeals process, the suspension was overturned Thursday by a New York judge.
Bonds was indicted for allegedly lying about using performance enhancing drugs, which is akin to deflating footballs, according to the NFL commissioner. However, his only conviction was overturned on appeal in July by a San Fransisco judge.
So what else do Brady and Bonds have in common?
They both played football at the same high school in San Mateo, California.
