Baltimore Ravens icon Ray Lewis posted an emotional video to his Facebook account on Tuesday, asking the people of Baltimore to stop rioting.

“Baltimore, get off the streets,’’ Lewis pleads. “Violence is not the answer. Violence has never been the answer.’’

Lewis, a future Hall of Fame linebacker and famous for his motivational speeches as much as his big hits on the field, sympathized with the frustrations of the rioters, but stressed that rioting was not the way to fix the problem.

“We know what’s going on, we know the problems, we know we’re not getting the right justice,’’ Lewis says. “But rioting in our streets is wrong, it’s dead wrong.’’
