Boston College edges Utah 4-3 in NCAA baseball tournament’s Oxford regional
OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Boston College bounced back from an early deficit to beat Utah 4-3 in the NCAA Tournament’s Oxford Regional on Saturday.
Boston College (33-20) fell behind 3-0 after four innings, but scored one run in the fifth and three more in the decisive seventh to push past the Utes and earn a spot in Sunday’s championship game.

Utah (26-28) will play Tulane earlier on Sunday to see who faces Boston College.
Boston College rallied for three runs in the seventh inning thanks to two hits, one error, one walk and one hit batter. Donovan Casey’s run-scoring fielder’s choice with the bases loaded pushed the Eagles ahead for good.
Boston College’s Jesse Adams threw 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief to close the game for his sixth save of the season.
