Saturday’s Red Sox-Orioles game is being moved up because of inclement weather in the forecast.

Rain showers are expected in Baltimore on Saturday afternoon.

“After consultation with Major League Baseball, Saturday’s originally scheduled 4:05 p.m. ET game between the Orioles and Boston Red Sox has been moved to 12:05 p.m. due to forecasted inclement weather,” the Orioles announced Friday.

The series opens Friday with Brayan Bello on the mound for the Sox, who have lost three in a row and five of their last six.

Star left-hander Garrett Crochet, who has had a rocky start to the season, is scheduled to pitch on Saturday. Trevor Rogers is Baltimore’s expected starter.
