COMMENTARY

I keep hearing how the 2017 Red Sox are boring. They’re not, but it sure is easy to identify why a fan or sports radio caterwauler would claim they are.

There are three reasons this is a recurring conversation about a team that’s on a 91-win pace and hasn’t even gone on a tear yet:

1. Baseball games take forever and an hour.
