Rodriguez, who missed the entire 2014 season serving a suspension for use of performance-enhancing drugs, has seven home runs in the first 27 games of the 2015 season. Fans at Yankee Stadium cheered his milestone home run, even getting Rodriguez to reemerge from the dugout for a curtain call.

“All of this is pretty crazy,’’ Rodriguez said, via MLB.com. “A year ago today, I never thought that I would ever get a curtain call or be hitting in the middle of the lineup for the New York Yankees, helping our team win.’’
