After all the Celtics have been through this season, it’s almost shocking that they’ll tip off their first playoff game Sunday as the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. But not if you’ve been watching.
A playoff hype video released Friday afternoon recalls how Boston has persevered through a season that began in devastating fashion and has since been defined by injuries. From Indiana to Houston to Oklahoma City to Portland, the tenacious, young group repeatedly bounced back and exceeded expectations.

“All year, we’ve been tested,” says the video’s narrator. “All year, we’ve responded. And when player after player went down, their teammates stepped up and rose to the occasion.”
