The Warriors look to close out the Cavaliers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, the Red Sox host the Phillies for a pair of games before heading to Philadelphia for two more, and the 2017 MLB Draft is set to take place Monday through Wednesday.

Lavar Ball explains why Lakers, not Celtics, are best fit for Lonzo Ball: “Team-wise, the Lakers are a better fit,” LaVar Ball said on the CSN CelticsTalk Podcast with Kyle Draper and A. Sherrod Blakely. “They really don’t have a leader. Boston already went to the playoffs. They have a leader.”

“I think Markelle is a better fit for Boston,” LaVar acknowledged. “He’s more of a scoring guy.” (CSNNE)

Red Sox have the 24th pick in the draft. Here’s everything you need to know: “In this year’s draft, there’s probably six, seven, eight guys that we’re 100 percent certain don’t get to our pick, but when you get to that next group, the 8-15 group, something can quickly change, like a few bad outings at the end of the year, that you need to be prepared for a slide on a certain player,” said Michael Rikard, the Sox’ vice president of amateur scouting. That’s not the way players are taught, that’s not the way front office people are taught.” (Boston Herald)
