Report: Kevin Love spurns Kelly Olynyk’s apology attempts

Celtics big man Kelly Olynyk wants to apologize for dislocating Kevin Love’s shoulder in the first round of the playoffs, but the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Love has “moved on’’ and won’t return any of Olynyk’s calls until after the season.

The Cavaliers are tied at 1-1 in their Eastern Conference semifinal series with the Chicago Bulls, but Love is out for 4-6 months after having season-ending surgery on his shoulder.

At the time, Love called the play in which he sustained the injury “bush league.’’ Olynyk is suspended for the first game of next season for his role in the play. Olynyk told The Boston Globe he did not intentionally try to injure Love.
