The Denver Nuggets Have Had it With This Season
Clocking in at 20-38, the Denver Nuggets are a lousy NBA team. They know this. And they apparently can’t wait for the season to be over.
As per Sunday’s editon of The Denver Post, columnist Christopher Dempsey notes that during the fourth quarter of the Nugs’ 104-82 loss to the Utah Jazz on Friday night, the team broke a huddle by shouting, “1-2-3… six weeks!’’ Why is this relevant? Becuase there are six weeks left to go in the regular season. And the Nuggets aren’t going to be anywhere near the playoffs.
Put two and two together and you get a team that is unified in playing out the string. Which, given how broken the Nuggets seem to have been all season, is more unified than they’ve been regarding anything else this year.
