Kendrick Perkins is playing like a man possessed.

Perkins has 12 points and 13 rebounds, Boston’s starters are all coming up huge, and the C’s have the lead at halftime.

Rasheed Wallace (12 points) and Rip Hamilton (9 points) are pacing the Pistons, who have hung around this game somewhat miraculously.

  • Sam Cassell was in the game for two minutes before Detroit pressured his ball-handling skills and forced Doc Rivers to take him out of the game.
  • Antonio McDyess picked up his third foul at the 2:04 mark.
