Ray Allen took a pass from Rajon Rondo and nailed a three-pointer in transition at the 8:35 mark to put the Celtics up, 8-5. Allen needed that one to go and he knew it, pumping his fist as he ran back on defense.
On Boston’s next possession, Paul Pierce drove the length of the court and put a spin on Tayshaun Prince for a lay-up.
