Red Sox president Lucchino came into the press room and talked with Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge for a few minutes. It was hard to tell if Lucchino sprinkled any magic dust on the lapel of the Celtics boss.
Dustin Pedroia is not here tonight. He was on my friend’s flight to San Diego this afternoon. Purely coincidental.
