Gerald Green tied the game at 66 with a 17-footer at the 1:19 mark in the third quarter, Ryan Gomes tied it at 68 on Boston’s next possession, and Green tied it to end the quarter as the Celtics are even with the Heat as we enter the final period.

Gomes has been unstoppable (seriously) for the Celtics tonight. Gomes has torched the Heat for 24 points.

Green has 19 points for the Celtics.

  • Gomes has hit two three-pointers tonight. He had five triples all season coming into tonight’s game.
  • After scoring 20 points in the first half, Shaquille O’Neal had just two points in the third quarter before being replaced by Alonzo Mourning.
  • The Celtics officially list tonight’s attendance (18,624) as a sellout.
  • Patriots defensive back Ellis Hobbs is courtside tonight.
