Al Jefferson brought the Celtics to within 81-79 on a running hook, and Delonte West drew a foul on Boston’s next possession. West tied the game with two free throws.
Jameer Nelson broke the tie with a jumper from the corner with 48.4 seconds left in the game.
On Boston’s next possession, Paul Pierce was forced into a 24-second violation. But the Celtics got it right back when they forced Hedo Turkoglu out of bounds with 23.3 seconds left.
Pierce tied the game with a fall-away on Turkoglu with 7.6 seconds left.
