Pierce ‘stubborn’

Paul Pierce smirked when asked after the game if he would seek the opinion of the medical staff about his inflamed elbow.

“Maybe sometime this week,” he said. “I’m stubborn.”

Stubborn meaning he wants to play?

“Meaning maybe I don’t want to see the doctors,” said Pierce.
