Delonte West had six points and four assists in the first quarter to give the Celtics the lead after one. West and Rajon Rondo played the entire first period. Al Jefferson played ten minutes in the first.

The crowd gave the Celtics a standing ovation when the buzzer sounded.

  • Tony Allen is in the house tonight for the Celtics. Allen is sitting at the end of the Celtics bench.
  • Antoine Walker received loud cheers from the Boston crowd when he checked in at the 4:49 mark in the first quarter. Toine has been replaced in the starting lineup by Jason Kapono, who is leading the NBA in three-point shooting at 56 percent. Walker missed his first three-point attempt tonight.
