The Maple Leafs ran out of room in the penalty box during Game 5 vs. Bruins
Not a normal occurrence.
During Game 5 of the Bruins-Maple Leafs Stanley Cup Playoff series at TD Garden on Saturday, Toronto experienced an unusual issue: Not enough seating space in the penalty box.
After a quick succession of penalties, four Leafs skaters found themselves in the box. Zach Hyman and Jake Gardiner each received two minutes for roughing. Less than a minute later, Tyler Bozak was called for interference. And the Toronto penalty box officially ran out of room when Roman Polak was given two minutes for slashing.
It resulted in an interesting scene:

The Bruins failed to capitalize on the 1:34 of a 5-3 matchup, though Boston did score quickly after the Leafs returned to full strength.
