Scenes From the Destruction in Nepal

At least 1,865 people were killed and tens of thousands left homeless after a 7.8 earthquake devastated parts of Nepal Saturday morning.

The quake is the worst to hit the South Asian country in over 80 years and was strong enough to be felt in parts of neighboring India, Bangladesh, Tibet and Pakistan, the Associated Press reports.

Here are some photos from the scene of the rescue effort, but be warned: Many are graphic depictions of suffering and death that may upset some readers.
