Saturday is shaping up to be a big day if you’re a Massachusetts island.

Donald Trump will host a campaign fundraiser on Nantucket the same day, August 6, that President Barack Obama and his family are set to return to Martha’s Vineyard for a two-week summer vacation.

A White House spokesman confirmed the First Family’s schedule last Friday to the Martha’s Vineyard Times. With the exception of 2012, the Obamas have vacationed every summer on the Massachusetts island.

Perhaps coincidentally, the ever media-savvy man campaigning to replace Obama in the White House will be a mere 30 miles away that afternoon.

According to an invitation published Monday by the Huffington Post, Trump will host a Nantucket fundraiser, along with GOP chairman Reince Priebus and Woody Johnson, the New York Jets owner and Trump campaign finance vice chairman.

The pricey fundraiser, costing between $2,700 and $50,000 to attend, was first reported Thursday by the Nantucket-based Inquirer and Mirror.

Not to be outdone, Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee for president, is also slated to visit Nantucket this month. According to the Inquirer and Mirror, Clinton will be on the island August 20 for a campaign fundraiser at the home of former ambassador to Portugal Elizabeth Frawley Bagley.

Tickets to the two-hour fundraiser reportedly cost from $1,000 to $27,000.

The Clinton event is scheduled the day before the Obama family is scheduled leave Martha’s Vineyard, on Sunday, August 21.
