Baltimore Erupts: Scenes of Chaos
Police cruisers and buildings engulfed in flames. Officers carrying each other to safety. Protestors throwing rocks and bottles and looting stores.
These are the scenes from Baltimore as people clashed violently with police, beginning in the hours after the funeral of Freddie Gray, a man who died in police custody.
At least 15 police officers have been injured. Two remain hospitalized, police said.
Some two dozen people have been arrested.
Baltimore public schools are closed Tuesday.
Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan declared a state of emergency and called in the National Guard.
