The driver, whose name has not been released, was treated by Boston EMS and transported to Massachusetts General Hospital for further evaluation.
A witness who saw the incident said he watched the car travel through the intersection of Cambridge and Sudbury Streets before “losing control and driving onto the sidewalk and driving into the building at 3 Center Plaza,” according to the report. The witness said the driver looked “unconscious” when he came up onto the sidewalk.
The Hyundai Santa Fe, which was parked legally, suffered minor damage to its passenger side door.
The driver had an active license, registration, and insurance, and police said there is no suspected alcohol consumption, drug use, or cell phone use.
