State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Thursday morning in Canton, according to a statement.
Police responded to the crash on I-95 northbound at approximately 12:58 a.m.
Police said an initial investigation determined a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling in the left lane then veered across the road and over the guard rail on the breakdown lane side.
Police reported the car rolled over and ejected one of three passengers — identified as a 21-year-old woman from Boston who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other two passengers included a 20-year-old man and 21-year-old man both from Boston. The driver was identified as a 21-year-old from Dorchester.
The driver and 21-year-old passenger were transported to Boston Medical Center, while the third passenger was transported to Good Sam Hospital. All suffered minor injuries, according to police.
Charges will be determined at the conclusion of the investigation, police said.
