New Hampshire officials investigate suspicious death in Manchester

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire law enforcement officials are investigating a death in Manchester that was announced hours after one person was shot and a second person was stabbed early Sunday.
Manchester police officers were responding to a traffic accident at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday when officers heard a loud altercation nearby. Officers went to the location and found a gunshot victim, while a second person arrived a hospital with an apparent stab wound.
New Hampshire law enforcement officials announced several hours later that an investigation was underway into a suspicious death.
Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald confirmed the death and said law enforcement officials were responding Sunday morning.
