Vigil planned for New Hampshire boy killed in sledding accident
WINCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — A vigil is scheduled in memory of a 10-year-old boy who died after his sled was hit by a car in New Hampshire.
People are planning to gather Monday night for Keyton Marrotte in Winchester. Police say he sledded down a hill near on Saturday into the car’s path and later died, despite the efforts of a witness and first responders. The hill is a popular one for sledding.
The school district said it anticipates that this will be a very difficult time for students and their families. It was holding a faculty meeting on Monday to discuss student and staff support.
